Christian Based Rehab

Outpatient addiction treatment can be perfect for you if you’re ready to get sober but can’t step away from your daily obligations like work and taking care of your kids to stay in a residential facility. Christian-based rehabs offer outpatient programs if you have mild or moderate substance abuse. At Northbound treatment, we’re a premier faith-based rehab that provides outpatient treatment depending on the severity of your addiction. Our program consists of a mixture of traditional therapeutic methods and Bible study that can help you regain control of your life once more.

What Is Outpatient Treatment?

When you’re not severely dependent on alcohol or drugs, you might not require the same intensity of care synonymous with residential rehabs. If so, you may benefit from an outpatient program. These programs allow you to return home at the end of each treatment session. Compared to inpatient treatment, outpatient rehab provides more flexibility, enabling you to keep up with family, work, and other obligations.

Outpatient treatment can also be suitable for you if you:

  • Don’t need medical detox
  • Have a healthy and supportive home environment

Outpatient drug rehab can be a step-down treatment after completing a residential care program, or it may be offered as your initial treatment. Prior to joining outpatient rehab, an experienced addiction specialist will perform drug screening and a comprehensive evaluation to determine if outpatient is ideal for you.

Services Provided In An Outpatient Treatment Program

The services offered by outpatient rehab are similar to inpatient treatment. However, they vary in frequency, intensity, and duration. Therapeutic intervention and support services in outpatient treatment may comprise:

  • Individual and group counseling
  • Medication-assisted treatment
  • Education sessions
  • Psychotherapy
  • Family therapy
  • Recreational or occupational therapy

Types Of Outpatient Addiction Treatment

There are three types of outpatient programs. They include:

Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHPs)

PHPs have a high level of care and structure but still, let you go home once you’re done with each session. You’ll receive treatment 5 to 7 days a week, for up to 5 hours daily, in a partial hospitalization program. Due to the intensive nature of PHPs, you might be unable to maintain a demanding job during treatment.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs)

IOPs sessions typically happen 3 days each week for about 3 hours per session. An Intensive outpatient program can be recommended if you still require the intensity and structure of residential rehab and the flexibility of outpatient treatment.

Standard Outpatient Programs (OPs)

Also known as general outpatient programs, OPs comprise regular support groups that help you stay sober. A licensed therapist usually takes charge of these groups, and the meetings happen 1 to 3 times weekly. Standard outpatient programs focus on ongoing therapy to strengthen your relapse prevention skills and improve your overall quality of life.
