At “LINKS” (a Christian tract of Northbound Treatment) we consider our staff to be the backbone our Christian addiction treatment. One of our main goals was to create a group of individuals who would make our clients feel comfortable, safe and open throughout the treatment process. When you join our Christian Addiction treatment community you’ll be cared for and counseled by a professional staff that is committed to every aspect of your recovery. At LINKS we base our Christian treatment program on the standard 12-Step Alcoholics Anonymous/Narcotics Anonymous program in tandem with Christian recovery modalities. Many of our staff members are also in recovery themselves which allows them to draw from their own personal experiences and foster a deeper understanding and connection with our clients. All of our clients spend time with our counselors and therapists on a one-on-one basis and in group settings covering the psychological and physiological root causes of addiction in tandem with Christian recovery principles. Beth Durling, MS, CADCII, ICADC, is a Masters-level clinician with over 15 years of experience working with dual-diagnosed clients. She is currently the Director of Links, the faith-based program at Northbound Treatment Center, and serves as the executive director of The Family Recovery Foundation, a nonprofit serving the families who love someone with addiction. Beth has held titles such as CEO, COO, and Clinical Director, equipping teams nationwide to improve successful client outcomes. She also serves as CEO at The Agency, offering spiritual, executive, and clinical consulting services.
Beth’s passion lies in guiding clients toward deep healing by combining evidence-based treatment with spirituality, creating a unique and effective modality for trauma recovery. Her approach facilitates a rapid bypass of emotional barriers, allowing clients to achieve profound breakthroughs. She is a proud mother of two amazing adult children who reside in Orange County, California.
Albert Perez is a Substance Use Disorder Certified Counselor (SUDCC II) with over a decade of experience in the Drug and Alcohol Treatment field. Since 2012, Albert has passionately helped individuals overcome chemical dependency, witnessing many transform their lives. His deep understanding of Biblical principles, honed through his studies, allows him to integrate faith with evidence-based treatment. Albert’s personal recovery journey, rooted in his commitment to Christ, fuels his dedication to helping clients find not only sobriety but also a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.
Lorin Bice is a seasoned CADC-II, Reiki Master, and Meditation Practitioner with over 9 years of experience in co-occurring treatment. With a deep commitment to holistic healing, Lorin specializes in integrating a Christ-centered perspective into her work, addressing the mind, body, and spirit as interconnected elements of recovery. Her expertise in faith-based approaches allows her to guide clients on a transformative journey, combining the power of spirituality with evidence-based practices. As a Reiki Master, Lorin brings an added dimension of energy healing, helping clients achieve balance and inner peace. Her compassionate and comprehensive approach makes her a trusted and impactful presence in the lives of those she serves.
Our Clinical providers and Counseling team has over 75 years of combined experience in addiction treatment. We have experts who specialize in addiction medicine, behavioral health, treatment of co-occurring disorders, family and marriage, trauma, sexual abuse, behavioral disorders, and dual diagnosis among others.
