Our Christian rehab center offers a residential medically supervised detox program that assists in cleansing the individual’s body of substance-related toxins. Upon entering our program, residents undergo a comprehensive medical evaluation to determine if detoxification is necessary. If detox is deemed necessary, a customized detoxification plan will be created to assure your unique detox needs are met. The duration of the detoxification phase varies depending on factors such as the type of substance abused, dosage of the substance, and length of time the substance was abused. The detox period can last a few days, or two weeks, depending on these factors. Our Christian rehab has had overwhelming success detoxing individuals from all addictive substances.
Prioritizing ComfortWe realize how difficult the decision to seek detox and treatment can be, as most of us have experienced it ourselves. Our Christian detox program is designed to assure residents are comfortable, and medicine designed to ease withdrawal symptoms will be administered if indicated. The primary goal of our detoxification program is to make the physical withdrawal phase as comfortable as possible. Once a resident is comfortable at our facility they become more accepting of the tools and teachings presented to them, and they are more willing to allow the process of change, which takes place in treatment, to occur. The primary reason addicted individuals leave treatment, or put off treatment altogether, is fear of the initial physical and mental withdrawals that accompany getting sober. Medication management is overseen by medical professionals in order to ensure residents are comfortable, but still able to actively participate in treatment activities if they wish. This participation helps ease the passage from detox to treatment.
